Cancer Therapeutics Innovation Pipeline
Cancer Therapeutics Innovation Pipeline

The Cancer Therapeutics Innovation Pipeline (CTIP) Program was established to capitalize on Ontario’s expertise in cancer biology and drug discovery to create a pipeline of validated cancer targets and first-in-class or best-in-class, novel, selective lead molecules (small molecules or biologics) that would attract partnerships and/or investment for further preclinical and clinical development.

 

Funding available:
Up to $150,000 for up to one year.

 

Important Deadlines:

  • Notice of intent submission: May 17, 2021
  • Letter of intent deadline: May 17, 2021 by 5 p.m. EDT
  • Full application deadline: August 12, 2021 by 5 p.m. EDT
    Notification of results: End of September 2021
  • Funding start date: October 1, 2021

OICR Clinical Translation Pathway
OICR Clinical Translation Pathway

To accelerate translational cancer research so that precise, impactful and cost-effective treatments can benefit cancer patients, OICR has implemented a new Clinical Translation Pathway (CTP). The CTP will support practice-changing research in biomarkers, diagnostics and therapeutics that will advance early detection and intervention research and have a clear path to the clinic and clinical impact.

 

Funding available: $250,000 per year for up to three years. OICR anticipates supporting up to eight Pre-CATA projects.

  • Notice of Intent submission: Now closed
  • Letter of Intent deadline: Now closed
  • Full application deadline: August 12, 2021 by 5 p.m. EDT
  • Notification of results: End of September 2021
  • Funding start date: October 1, 2021
